Danish design – no comment needed! Everyone knows of it or has heard about it. The Mater brand, respecting tradition while simultaneously addressing contemporary design issues, is a striking representative of the new generation of Danes. The brand was founded in 2006 and produces chairs, dressers, light fixtures and coat hangers. Mater designs are created by Maija Pouskari, Soren Rose and the design association Space Copenhagen and Stone Design.
